1. Booking and Payment
1.1. To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total trip cost is required at the time of reservation.
1.2. The remaining balance can be cleared upon your arrival.
1.3. For last-minute bookings made within 10 days of the tour start date, full payment is required at the time of booking and this payment is Non- refundable.
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1. If you cancel your trip:
- More than 20 days prior to departure: You will forfeit the deposit, but any additional payments will be refunded.
- Between 15 days and 20 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded. If you have paid the 30% deposit at that time, please note that the deposit is fully non refundable.
Less than 15 days before departure: No refund will be issued.
2.2. Cancellations must be made in writing via email.
3. Trip Modifications and Cancellations by Us
3.1. "Himalayan Sherpa Trail,Treks and Tours / Himalayan Sherpa Travels" reserves the right to modify or cancel any trip due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, political instability, or natural disasters.
3.2. If we must cancel a trip, you will receive a full refund of all payments made. However, we are not responsible for any additional expenses incurred by you, such as visa fees, travel insurance, or flight costs.
4. Travel Insurance
4.1. All travelers must have comprehensive travel insurance that covers medical expenses, trip cancellations, delays, emergency evacuation, and high-altitude trekking.
4.2. Proof of insurance must be provided prior to the start of the trip.
5. Health and Safety
5.1. You must be in good physical and mental health to participate in our trips. It is your responsibility to consult a medical professional before traveling if necessary.
5.2. You must inform us of any pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, or dietary restrictions in advance.
5.3. Himalayan Sherpa Trail,Treks and Tours / Himalayan Sherpa Travels reserves the right to decline participation in any tour if we deem the traveler unfit for the journey or at risk of harm.
6. Personal Responsibility
6.1. Himalayan Sherpa Trail,Treks and Tours/Himalayan Sherpa Travels is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal property during the trip.
6.2. You are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas and travel documents prior to travel.
6.3. You must follow all instructions from our guides for your safety and the safety of others on the trip.
7. Risk Acknowledgment
7.1. You acknowledge that trekking, adventure activities, and travel in Nepal involve inherent risks, including but not limited to altitude sickness, unpredictable weather, and difficult terrain. By booking with Himalayan Sherpa Trail,Treks and Tours/Himalayan Sherpa Travels, you accept these risks and release us from any liability.
8. Changes to Itinerary
8.1. Itineraries are subject to change based on weather, road conditions, and other factors beyond our control.
8.2. We will do our best to maintain the planned schedule but reserve the right to make necessary alterations to ensure the safety and enjoyment of the group.
9. Force Majeure
9.1. Himalayan Sherpa Trail,Treks and Tours/Himalayan Sherpa Travels is not liable for any delay, cancellation, or change of plans due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, strikes, or other unforeseen events.
10. Photography and Marketing
10.1. We may take photographs or videos during the trip for promotional purposes. By joining our tours, you consent to the use of such images for marketing, without any compensation.
10.2. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please inform us in advance.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nepali courts.
